Got a stick of wood. attatched it to the top of Sam's helmet using zip ties and tape. also used a sock with sand in, to put between the stick and the helmet to get a greater surface area to attach to. then just taped it down until it felt stiff enough to ride! did the same at the GoPro end, using tape to bind the camera and it's mount to the stick.
